WILMA LEE "DUTCH" HOOVER, 76, of 161 Ditto Farms Drive, Falling Waters, West Virginia, died on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born March 10, 1931 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence W. McGowan and Mearl R. Godlove McGowan Williams. She retired from the U. S. Army after 22 years of service. She attended Downsville Christian Church. She was a member of the American Legion, Morris Frock Post 42. She is survived by one sister, Lucille Keyser of Hagerstown; three brothers, Lawrence McGowan of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Paul McGowan of Hagerstown, and Bernard Williams of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl McGowan, and Railey Williams; and her stepfather, Richard Williams. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Thursday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Craig Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
