Obituary

WILLIAM E. "BILL" NUTWELL, III, 46, of Clear Spring, Maryland, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center. Born April 13, 1968, in Annapolis, Maryland, he was the son of Barbara Shafer Nutwell and the late William E. Nutwell, Jr. Bill was a 1986 graduate of Annapolis High School. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was a member of Salem Reformed Church prior to his death. Bill was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association, American Quarter Horse Association, and the Country Western Dance Association. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Ronda Sprecher Nutwell; a brother, Charles P. "Chuck" Nutwell and wife, Kim of Needmore, PA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles E. Shafer, Jr. and Jeannette Deibert Shafer; paternal grandparents, William Edwin Nutwell, Sr. and Rosa Catterton Nutwell. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Salem Reformed Church, 13182 Salem Church Road, Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Steve Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salem Reformed Church. Online condolences are accepted at www.minnichfh.com
