WILLIAM HENRY FRIDINGER, III, 66, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away at Williamsport Nursing Home on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Born in Hagerstown, MD on October 1, 1950, he was the son of William Henry Fridinger, Jr. and H. Marie Marr Fridinger. Bill graduated in 1968 from South Hagerstown High School. He enjoyed competitive swimming for the YMCA and Northwood Pool. He was employed with Miller-Liskey Electrical Co. for 18 years, and retired from the State of Maryland as a Maintenance Chief at Potomac Center in 2012. Bill served in the Air National Guard. Bill was a member of the Elks Club 378, Hagerstown, MD and the SAL Post 222, Clear Spring, MD. He was a resident of Clear Spring for 27 years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dianne Moleskie Fridinger; a son, Nathan Fridinger and wife, Nicole of Hagerstown, MD daughter, Andrea Duffey and husband, Christopher of Auburn, CA; a granddaughter, Reagan Duffey and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Mark Michael will officiate. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home.
