WILLIAM JOSEPH BOHMERT, 99, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Monday, November 4, 2013 at Julia Manor. Born October 29, 1914, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late William and Laura Lenihan Bohmert. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U. S. Navy. He was owner and operated a family business printing company, Acme Manifolding Company in Tuckahoe, New York. William loved to help people especially if they needed anything fixed. He is survived by his wife of seventy-four years, Laura Grace Bohmert; a daughter, Janice Lawson and husband, Richard of Big Pool, MD; three grandsons, William F. Bohmert, Jr., Richard W. Lawson and Matthew J. Lawson; three great grandchildren, William F. Bohment, III, Elizabeth Lawson and Richard S. Lawson. He was preceded in death by a son, William F. Bohmert, a brother, John Bohmert and a sister, Rita Bohmert. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.
