William "Bill" Christian Bikle, 79, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away April 22, 2024.  Born October 11, 1944 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Christian and Margaret (Green) Bikle.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Marjorie Bikle, in June 2016.

Bill was a simple man, known by many. He owned The Lock Shop, loved nature, and lived on the C&O Canal his entire life. He was an honorary leader with Scout Troup 58 and was still very involved.

He is survived by his children, Adrianne Hughes, Margaret Monaghan (husband, Mike), Billie Jean Bikle, Mandy Nave, and Jillian Bikle; grandchildren, Logan Hughes, Mara Monaghan, Kelcee Anderson, Dylan Ardinger, Maya Nave, Korin Morrison, Jaida Lundy, Tai Nave, and Isaiah Artis; brothers, Temm Bikle and Philip Bikle (wife, Nida); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
