Wendy Louise Stormes, 51, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017. Born April 5, 1966 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Mary Louise (Coulter) Horman and the late Edward Lee Clipp, Sr. Wendy attended schools in the Williamsport area. She had an amazing spirit, wild, free, kind and loving. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. In addition to her mother she is survived by her step-father, Jerry Horman; siblings, Robin Livingston and husband Bill, Obyrne "Obie" Clipp, Richard Clipp, and Tina Ardinger; children, Richard Mathis, Lisa Clipp, and Wayde Smith; grandchildren, Kendaven Mathis, Isaiah Mathis, Brian Knott, Trentyn Knott, Logan Knott, Greyson Knott, Ryleigh Green, Nathan Smith, and Noah Smith; nieces and nephews Tyler Clipp, Jamie Lynn Jones, Leslie Mason IV, and John Mason Jr.; and numerous aunts and uncles. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Clipp, Jr.; and niece, Matia Daniels. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road, Knoxville, MD. Pastor Alan Smith will officiate.
