WAYNE LEROY WALLECH, SR., 72, of Hagerstown, MD, went to meet his Lord Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born May 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Emmert B. Wallech, Sr. and Araminta E Knott Wallech. Wayne attended Shiloh United Methodist Church of Hagerstown. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Wallech; and two brothers, Emmert Wallech, Jr., and Leon Wallech, Sr. Wayne is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Kiser Wallech; two daughters, Denise Wallech-Holman of Hagerstown, Sherry Mohar and husband Don of Hagerstown; son, Wayne Wallech, Jr and wife Leslee of Smithsburg; four sisters, Elizabeth Weaver and husband Melvin Sr., Kathryn Whittington and husband Darrell, Suzy Fritz and husband Rich, Sharon McAfee and husband Ray; five brothers, Ralph Wallech and wife Nancy, Andrew Wallech Sr. and wife Nancy, Nathan Miller Wallech, Joseph Wallech and wife Ginger, David Wallech, Sr. and wife Debbie; granddaughter, Kirsten Wallech Mohar of Hagerstown; five grandsons, Jeremy Manford and wife Summer of Hagerstown, Mikkel Wallech of Hagerstown, Jacob Wallech of Waynesboro, PA, Seth Remsburg of Smithsburg, Nick Mohar Shurz of Washington D.C.; two great-granddaughters, Trenton and NovaLynn Manford of Hagerstown; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11am at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Kenneth Fizer will officiate. The family will accept friends Wednesday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
