WAYNE ELMER "JACK" MCAFEE, 65, of 1033 Main Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at his home. Born September 14, 1942 in Washington County, Maryland, he was the son of the late Elmer and Evelyn Miller McAfee. He was owned and operated J. & M Grill on South Potomac, Hagerstown, MD for thirty-five years. He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, MaeEtta Rhodes McAfee, one daughter, Jackie McAfee of Hagerstown, MD; three sons, Chris McAfee of Big Pool, MD, Mark McAfee and Adam McAfee both of Hagerstown, MD; three sisters, Sue Brechbill, Elaine Ashkettle and Kim Socks all of Hagerstown, MD; one brother, Stephen McAfee of Barstow, California; uncle, Gerald McAfee of Mount Briar, Maryland: four grandchildren, Christina Harbin, Helena Harrell, Richard W. Harrell and Jeremy McAfee; seven great grandchildren, Kirsten Harbin, Aryanna Tazwell, Kaylee McAfee, Jacquan Young, Tymeir Tazwell, Tyler Harbin and Richard Harrell, Jr. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia McAfee and Judy Palmer; two brothers, Thomas McAfee and David McAfee. Services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Luz Maria Maiuri and the Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
