Vivian Jean Doarnberger, 75, of Maugansville, MD, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Doeys House. Born May 26, 1944 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Milford and Sarah Florence (Martin) Weaver. Vivian worked for Digby Corporation. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Funkstown. She was a lifetime resident of Maugansville. She enjoyed reading, taking walks to the Post Office, and visiting with friends along the way. She also enjoyed playing cards at the Funkstown American Legion Post 211 with the girls where she spent a lot of her time volunteering and helping in the kitchen. Vivian will be dearly missed by many, family and friends. She is survived by her husband, John Michael "Mike" Doarnberger; son, Michael "Todd" Doarnberger; daughter-in-law, Karen Marie Jo Doarnberger, both of Greencastle, PA; two grandchildren, Stephane Reed and Drake Swartz; five sisters, Louis Oldham, Beverly Reeder, Anna Mae Sealock, Audrey Holland, and Patsy Mullins; and one brother, Ed Weaver. The funeral service will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD at 11am, Monday, December 30, 2019 with Rev. Lee Brumback officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 6 to 8pm.
