Vishwa Nath Nikore, 86, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. Born Oct. 25, 1931, in Mianwali, India he was the son of the late Bhanu Datt and Shakuntala Vera Nikore. Vishwa is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Kailash Aurora Nikore; his two sons, Samir and Varun and wife, Trusha; two brothers Vinay and Vijay; a sister, Usha Thapar; two grandchildren; and a host of dear relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Manohar and Pran. Vishwa had received Masters degrees in Mathematics and Industrial Engineering. Locally he was the manager of Hagerstown Shoe Factory for about 8 years and had a family business, Niks Gallery, before retirement in 2002. Vishwa touched so many with his smile, kindness, humility and affectionate heart. He will fondly be remembered. The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Funeral services follow at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. also at the funeral home.
