Virginia Adell Smith, 97, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Julia Manor Health Care Center. Born August 13, 1920 in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Irvin and Eliza Adell (Neal) Rudy. Virginia was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Franklin Nave in 1970; and her second husband, Drexel Edward Smith in 2014. She attended Williamsport schools. She was last employed with Blaine Window and Hardware, working in the office. She was a former member of First Brethren Church. Virginia is survived by several nieces and nephews. Virginia was also preceded in death by one daughter, Della Virginia Nave; two sisters, Pauline Beckley and Pearl Hose; and two brothers, Charles A. Rudy and Emory E. Rudy. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown. Pastor Kevin Smoot will officiate.
