VIRGINIA MARIAN SLADE, 77, of 4231 Federal Hill Road, Street, Maryland, died on Monday, October 13, 2008 at the home of her daughter. Born August 24, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harold Loux and Gertrude McCallum Crothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hugh Slade on May 28, 2008. She was employed with Equitable Trust in Baltimore, Maryland. She was of the protestant faith. She is survived by one daughter, Rayma Jean Ham of Hagerstown; one brother, Frederick L. Crothers of Hagerstown; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carol R. Baker, and one brother, Robert H. Crothers. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
