VIRGINIA AILEEN KINGSLEY, 92, of Hagerstown, died February 3, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital. Born April 5, 1917 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Herbert C. and Bess M. Thompson Adams. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leroy Metz, Ralph Healey and William P. Kingsley. She was previously employed with Home Federal Savings and Loan. She was a member of Haven Lutheran Church. She was a life member of Queen Esther Chapter #3, Order of the Eastern Star in Hagerstown; Ladies of the Elks; Ladies Auxilliary of the VFW in Orlando, FL; AARP. She is survived by a son, Phillip E. Metz of Hagerstown; two step daughters, Sandra Forbes of Mercersberg, PA and Suzanne Thomas of Laporte, IN; one granddaughter, Jodi Michelle Metz; six step grandchildren; fourteen step great grandchildren; three step great, great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd with Pastor Linda Alessandri officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro, PA. at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
