VIRGINIA C. LANTZ DEGRANGE "Ginny" passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 93 years of age and entered the Kingdom of God to be joined with her beloved husband, Richard L. DeGrange.

Ginny was always quick with a smile and would help anyone in need. She loved animals almost as much as her children and grandchildren! Ginny was a lifelong member of the Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren.
Ginny worked at L'Aiglon, Fairchild as a "Rosie the Rivetor" during World War II, but perhaps her most enjoyable job was as a bus driver for the Board of Education transporting and interacting with children for more than 23 years.
She married her "knight in shining armor" Dick DeGrange, on October 3, 1947 and they went on to build a family with a lasting legacy. They had six children: Nelson Eichelberger & Wife, Jacque, their six children, fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Joseph (Jody) DeGrange, (who preceded her in death on 3/7/1991) and his wife, Anna, their four children, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, Christy Worthington and husband Lee, their three children and eight grandchildren, Teresa Fitz and her husband, Tom, their six children, eighteen grandchildren, a great grandchild and twins, Richard (Dicky) DeGrange and wife, Terre and their two children, Robert (Bobby) DeGrange and wife Jen, and their three children and four grandchildren.
