VIOLA (VICKIE) JESSIE BROWN, 92, has her dancing shoes on once again, this time in heaven. Beloved Mother, Nana and Great-grandmother, passed away on September 13, 2015 in Manheim, PA at the Pleasant View Retirement Community and formerly of Jefferson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Hugging her great-grandchildren was one of her favorite pass times. Born in Rossville, GA May 23, 1923 she was the daughter of the late John and Ona Bell Hayes Calsaw. Vickie was a member of the Hagerstown Ladies Elks and Pen Mar Dance Club of Waynesboro, PA. She retired from McCroy's Store. Vickie is survived by two daughters, Nadene Moser and husband Scott of Anderson, SC and Cherie A. Dillow and husband G. Benjamin of Mt. Joy, PA; five grandsons, Scott B. Dillow and wife Nancy, Steve K. Dillow and wife Jennifer, Shane M. Dillow, Greg A. Moser and wife Maria, and Christopher T. Moser and wife Traci; eight great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her Husband, Charley M. Brown in 2004, one sister, Wiline Naomi Wilcox, and one brother, Zernie Calsaw. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Minnich Funeral Home 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Hagerstown, MD. Bill Divelbiss will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Rd. Ste. D, Timonium, MD 21093.
