Vince Hellane, Jr., 53, passed from this world on July 18 to continue his adventure in the next. He quietly departed from Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family and friends. We will miss his sense of humor and wily ways, his humanity and compassion. As an organ donor, he has given the gift of life to others around the country. Born in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of James Vincent "Vince" and Nancy Larimore Hellane. Vince was an entrepreneur and a visionary, and an inspiration to all his family and friends. Vince was the founder and president of d'Vinci Interactive, Inc. a computer based e-learning business, located in the Arts and Entertainment District of downtown Hagerstown. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph G. "Jack" and Ruth Hellane of Hagerstown, and Walter K. and May Stauffer Larimore of Edgemont, Maryland; uncles, Joseph Glenn Hellane, Jr, and John Thomas Hellane, Sr., John Warren Garrott, Sr., of Hagerstown, and Edward Stauffer Larimore of Edgemont. Memorial Service will be held on Aug. 12, 11AM at Greencastle Presbyterian Church 57 West Baltimore Street, Greencastle PA.
