Vicky Jean Betts, 74, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away, Saturday morning, March 21, 2026, at her home.

Born June 2, 1951, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George G. and Patricia L. (Price) Wood.

Vicky retired from the State of Maryland, working in the Hagerstown Office of Social Services.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Betts; three sons, Toby Betts, Justin Betts, and Brandon Betts; seven grandchildren, Courtney Betts, Christian Betts, Neil Betts, Skyler Betts, Brandon Betts, Shane Stevens and Rylee Stevens; seven great grandchildren, Calvin Berger, Elliot Betts, Wade Berger, Avery Smith, Eleanor Smith, Bennett Smith, and Peyton Stevens; one sister, Lisa Wallace; and two brothers, Howard Morningstar and Todd Morningstar.

Vicky was preceded by one grandson, Damian Betts, and one sister, Patricia Morris.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 6-8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Minnich Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Robinson officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
