Vickie Ann Wiles-DeVore-Eichelberger, 71, started her journey to Heaven on August 5th from her home in Big Pool, under the care of her Family and Hospice.

Born Vickie Ann Wiles on August 28, 1951, in Hagerstown, Vickie was the daughter of the late Shirlie (Carbaugh) Wiles and Charles "Smokey" Wiles Sr. She married twice; Richard DeVore, Charles Eichelberger Sr.

Vickie was a wonderful mother who dedicated her life to her husband and raising her son. She enjoyed Caribbean vacations, traveling, and spending time with family, and friends. Some of her favorite activities were going to lunch and shopping with her Friends Ruby Hornbaker, and Helen Pedoza. She loved hunting, fishing, and taking care of her animals.

She graduated in 1969 from South Hagerstown High School. She worked at EJ Fennel sewing Factory, County Market, Food Lion, and Diakon Senior Living.

She is survived by her husband, son, Richie DeVore, granddaughter, Ashley Frenkel, and her husband Tommy; great-grandchild Riley Frenkel, stepson Charles Eichelberger Jr., two stepdaughters, Patty Najowicz , Gloria Keyser, two brothers, Charles "Smoke" Wiles Sr., his wife Cindy Wiles, Bob Wiles, his wife Dawn Wiles, one sister Pamela Wiles, nephew Michael Wiles, and her cat Chloe.

She was preceded in death by two sisters Nancy Wiles, Jacqueline Bradds, and her two dogs, Hunter and Cozmo.

Services will be held 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to services on Wednesday.
