VERNICE AUDREY HENSON, 72, of Williamsport, MD, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at her home. Born November 27, 1942 in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Freda (Roser) Long. Vernice graduated from South Hagerstown High School with the class of 1960. She was a member of New Life Christian Ministries, and was a loving mother and wife. Vernice is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frederick Henson, Sr.; three daughters, Kimberly Mullendore and husband, Richard, of Hagerstown, Teresa Galatanu and husband, George, of Big Pool, MD, and Vernice Potts and husband, Jeff, of Hagerstown; one son, Fred Henson, Jr. of Williamsport, MD; thirteen grandchildren, Leann, Michael, Rebecca, Nicole, Joshua, Chante, Jeff, Courtney, Rachel, Hope, Abby, Jacob, and Teddy; 15 great grandchildren; four sisters; and four brothers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters. Services will be held 11am, Friday, October 30, 2015 at New Life Christian Ministries, 12031 Hopewell Road, Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Ken R. Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Williamsport, MD. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
