Obituary

Ulanda Yvonne Wold, 75, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, at Doey's House surrounded by the people she loved in her final days. Ulanda, who was fondly known as "Stitch" or "Loni", was born on August 09,1950, at St Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD. She was the daughter of the late Hardy H. Clark and Ola Marie (Sellers) Clark of Valley Lee, MD.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Wold, whom she married on October 8, 1982, her son-in-law Jeff Reid, her granddaughter Ashley Reid, her grandsons Bradley Reid, Brenton Reid, and Brian Reid (Jessica), her great-grandchildren Jasmine, Allison, Adam, Izabella, Harper, and Luke all of Hagerstown.

She is survived by her siblings Milford "Mickey" Clark (Carole) of Lenoir City, TN, Patsy "Trish" Raley (Jim) of Ashburn, VA, Sandy Morgan (Dennis), Jesse Clark, Mark Clark all of Mechanicsville, MD, Danny Clark (Kathy) of Luray, VA, and Judy Negley of Winchester, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Tammy Lynn Adams Reid, her first husband Thomas C. Adams, her brother-in-law Clement L. Negley, and her great nephew Steven A. Cusic, Jr.

Ulanda graduated in 1969 from Great Mills High School in Great Mills, MD. She held several jobs including waitressing at Duff's Drive-In and the Honey Lane restaurant, dental assistant for Dr. Albert S Vikell all in Lexington Park, MD. She also worked at Citicorp and The Review and Herald in Hagerstown, and the National Wildlife Federation in Winchester, VA. She ended her career at Boonsboro Antique & Collectibles. The role she cherished most was being a loving mother, grandma and nana. She was the heart of the family and showed a deep love with unwavering support for them all, expecting nothing in return.

She was the strongest, most courageous, and bravest soul we knew. She faced down tragedy, two bouts of cancer, two strokes, and dementia, and never asked why me. She was steadfast in her faith and believed God had a plan and purpose for her.

So, rest now; rest in the peace and quiet you so longed for. We will meet you again on that beautiful shore.
