Obituary

HN TYLER WAYNE MORRIS, 21, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Born June 25, 1992, in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Woodrow R. Morris, III of Hagerstown, MD, and Marsina Lee Ingram Taulton of Fairplay, MD. Tyler attended Williamsport High School and was a 2010 graduate of Washington County Technical High School. He was serving in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as a Hospitalman in Internal Medicine. He was a volunteer firefighter at the Independent Junior Fire Company No. 3 in Hagerstown. Tyler enjoyed playing sports, hunting and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Emily Claire Graff Morris; a son, Bradley W. Morris at home; three sisters, Nicole D. Taulton, Laran R. Taulton and Kaylyn M. Taulton all of Fairplay, MD; step-father, Ralph E. Taulton of Fairplay, MD; father's friend, Patti Harmon; maternal grandparents, Everett J. and Sandra L. Ingram of Sharpsburg, MD; paternal grandparents, Dietra and Gerald Travis of Knoxville, MD, and Robert and Elsie Taulton of Frederick, MD; paternal grandmother, Brenda J. Binkley and friend, Curtis Shives of Hagerstown; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Woodrow R. Morris, Jr. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Clarence Horst will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be provided by the U. S. Navy. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown from 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations for his son, Bradley W. Morris can be made at any Bulldog Federal Credit Union Branch.
