TONY CURTIS REED, 54, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Born December 24, 1956 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Shirley Reed Williams of Hagerstown. He attended Hagerstown schools. He was a truck driver most of his life. He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Hagerstown. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Kevin Jamison of Richmond, Virginia, Jesse Reed of Hagerstown, and Nicholas Reed of Smithsburg, Maryland; one brother, Alan D. Reed of Williamsport, Maryland; aunts; uncles; cousins; and a faithful and true friend, Cathy Garling of Hagerstown. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ethel Knode and Ray Knode; one cousin, Robin Plotner; and uncles, Vic Plotner and Bill Knode. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Randall Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery in Bakersville, Maryland. Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
