Timothy Blaine Calhoun, 65, of Hagerstown, MD, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Born June 2, 1958 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Mary Jean (DeVore) and William Carl Calhoun.

Tim was a 1976 graduate of St. James School. He worked 35 years as a licensed Aircraft Mechanic, retiring from Northrop Grumman.

He was certified as an Eagle Scout with Troop 10 of Hagerstown and also served as an Assistant Scout Master.

He was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara Calhoun; daughter, Laura Smyly (husband, Duncan); grandchildren, Andrew and Duncan C. Smyly; sister, Gayle Bentz; two brothers, Michael and James Calhoun; niece, Kelsey Calhoun; and three nephews, Collin and Gregory Calhoun, and James Waltersdorf.

Tim will be remembered as a very loving and dedicated husband, father, and Pap-Pap.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, with Pastor Bill Divelbiss to officiate at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am.
