Timothy Neil Bonenberger, 72, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. He was born on March 31, 1951 to the late George Bonenberger and Ida Mae Richardson Bonenberger.

Timothy graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1970. He worked at Manitowac/Grove Manufacturing in Shady Grove, PA for 40 years. Timothy was an avid deer and turkey hunter and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He made countless pieces of furniture for his family utilizing his woodworking skills. He was also a member of the Greencastle Sportsman Association. Timothy loved spending time outdoors. However, most of all, he will be remembered for his great love for his family, for his constant support of everyone around him, and always being present, loyal, reliable, and generous.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Dolf Bonenberger, Sally Lefferts, and Greg Bonenberger.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Connie Bonenberger, his children, Brian Bonenberger and his wife, Nicole and Holly Fratz and her husband, Andrew, his grandchildren, Kaylee Morgan and her husband, Jason, Aubrey Bonenberger, Connor Fratz, Lillian Fratz, and Ian Fratz, many nieces and nephews, and one beloved sister-in-law, Delia Bonenberger.

Family and friends are welcomed for a memorial visitation on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.
