TIMOTHY DWANE "TIM" BACORN, 61, of 11234 Hollywood Road, Hagerstown, Md., died on Monday, June 11, 2007 at the Martinsburg V.A. Center, in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Born February 4, 1946 in Buckhannon, Upshur County, West Virginia, he was the son of Thomas Guy and Helen F. Saulesbury Bacorn of Buckhannon, West Virginia. He was a 1964 graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, serving in the U. S. Army. He was an entrepreneur in Insurance Sales, Insurance Training and Bail Bonds Services. He was admired in his field of work and was a mentor to many newcomers in his industry. Tim was a people person and made friends most everywhere he went. He enjoyed dancing, playing blue grass music on his guitar, watching baseball games and spending time with his dog, Boomer In addition to his parents he is survived by a daughter, Jodi M. Bacorn of Brunswick, Maryland; a son, Jack W. Bacorn of Myersville, Maryland; a sister Ann B. Duff of DeLand, Florida; a brother, Thomas W. Bacorn of Sago, West Virginia; his fiancée, Jacqueline Barnhart; three granddaughters, Chayanne Reeves, Mickayla Bacorn and Madeline Bacorn; three grandsons, Dakota Reeves, Zachariah Bacorn and Zander Bacorn; nephews Eric Bacorn and Evan Bacorn and his beloved friend, Boomer. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Dr. Wayne Allgaier of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate. Graveside dedication and burial will take place at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
