Thomas Lee Shank, 72, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Doey's House.

Born January 22, 1951, in Washington County, MD, he was the son of the late Harvey and Ruth (Durbin) Shank.

Thomas was a member of the Masonic Lodge #217, Elks Lodge #378, and the Umpire Association.

Thomas was an avid golfer, loved Shepherd College Ram football team, college wrestling, little league baseball, Boston Red Sox team. He never missed a sporting event that his grandkids or great grandkids participated in.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara Shank; his sister, Deloris Wise of State Line, PA; his brothers, William "Billy" and wife, Sandy, of Hagerstown and Dick and wife, Wendy, of Wayne castle, PA; his children, Barbie Gross (Cecil) of Funkstown, MD, Bonnie and husband, Trevor Karn, of Falling Waters, WV., Matthew and wife, Eileen, of Dracut, MA, Kenny Jones and wife, Michelle, of Falling Waters, WV, and Michael and wife, Emily, of Nashua, NH; a very special niece, Michele Hull of Hagerstown; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 10am on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD 21740. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 10, from 6-8pm.
