THOMAS EDWARD (TOMMY, DOZER) GLADDEN, 31, of Hagerstown, Md. died Saturday, October 1, 2011 in Greencastle, Pa. Born June 12, 1980 in Washington County, Maryland, he was the son of Timothy Lynn Gladden of Inwood, West Va. and Brenda Lee Fear Clopper of Greencastle, Pa. He was employed with Amtrac Railroad Contractors. He played softball at Halfway and enjoyed hunting. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father, James L. Clopper of Greencastle; two daughters, Ariel Gladden and Ariannah Gladden, both of Hagerstown; a son, Jordan Gladden of Hagerstown; girlfriend, Megan Pittman; former wife of 15 years, Nicole Gladden; a sister Tiffany Shank of Greencastle, Pa; two step-brothers, Jamie Clopper and Scott Clopper; maternal grandmother, Margaret Clopper; paternal grandmother, Veronica Gladden; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Edward Fear and Max Clopper, his paternal grandfather, William Gladden; an uncle, Steve Fear, and aunt, Barb Ritter and two cousins, Ricky Fear and Heather Cross. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Md. The Rev. Robert D. Swank, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
