THERESA JUDE BURGESS, 76, of 304 Cantata Court, Reisterstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital. Born January 3, 1934 in Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Josephine Dillon Witherington. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Coleman, Alabama. She was employed as a cost accountant at Saft America in Cockeysville, Maryland. She was of the catholic faith. She is survived by two daughters, Mary A. Wackowicz of South Mills, North Carolina, and Catherine D. Shultz of Hagerstown; two sons, Richard W. Burgess of York, Pennsylvania, and Larry B. Burgess of Hollywood, Florida; one sister, Angela Doyle of Birmingham, Alabama; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 224 West Washington Street, Hagerstown on Friday at 11:00 a. m. Rev. Collin Poston will be celebrant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. Arrangements by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Maryland.
