THELMA IRENE (BERGER) SOUDERS, 77, of 18301 Manor Church Road, Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at her home. Born December 17, 1927 in Fairplay, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Rohrer Berger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen O. Souders on January 28, 2004. She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church. She was a member of the District 12 Ruritan Club. She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Sue Breichner of Chewsville, Maryland; four sons, Glen D. Souders, Donald Lee Souders, Eddie Gene Souders, and Brian Lee Souders, all of Hagerstown; four sisters, Ruth Powell of Frederick, Maryland, Joyce Hessong of Louisville, Kentucky, Eva Kemp of Savannah, Georgia, and Martha Lewis of Lodi, California; grandchildren, Steven Souders, Donald Souders, Jr., Tracey Souders, Kendra Fritsch, and Sarah Schleigh, all of Hagerstown, Dustin Schleigh and Chad Breichner, both of Chewsville, Maryland; and two great-grandsons, Jamie Wiley and Brandon Wiley, both of Hagerstown. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Berger and Marvin Berger, and a half-brother, Lewis Troupe; one granddaughter, Tina Wiley, and one great-granddaughter, Amanda Wiley. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Saturday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Dean Pryor will officiate. Burial will be in Manor Cemetery in Tilghmanton, Maryland.
