THELMA MYRTLE ROWE, 93, formerly of George Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Fahrney Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, MD. Born April 1, 1918 in Shippensburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy J. and Maude L. Barnhart Freet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Rowe, Sr. She was a 1936 graduate of Lewistown High School, Lewistown, PA. She was a member of Park Road Bible Church. She is survived by one daughter, Sara Jane St. Clair and husband, Victor of Hagerstown, MD; one son, Jesse A. Rowe, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Smithsburg, MD; two grandchildren, Victor M. St. Clair, Jr. and Pamela S. Needy; two great granddaughters, Amber St. Clair and Kayla Needy; a special niece, Nancy Rowe of Lewistown, PA, and a number of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by one great granddaughter, Shelby R. St. Clair; one sister and three brothers. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Ron Key will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
