Terry Lee Slick, 82, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away February 11, 2024, at his home.

Born March 31, 1941 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Edwin Slick, Sr. and Grace (Baxter) Slick.

Terry was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in the Vietnam War. He was employed as a Maryland State Trooper for 25 years, retiring in 1992.

He was a member of Marlowe Assembly of God. He was also a member of FOP Lodge 88 and Maryland Troopers Association Lodge 88.

Terry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kay (Hose) Slick; one stepdaughter, Trudy Spielman (Frank); one stepson, Rick Thomas (Laurel); special niece, Maria Averill; and several step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ed Slick, Jr.

Terry's hopes were that everyone would be kind to one another and be a blessing.

The funeral will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. James Lloyd and Rev. Norm Gloeckler will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, 127 Britner Ave., Williamsport, MD.

A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at 9am.
