TERRY GELWICKS RAMER, 73, of Funkstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. His wife, Judy Ellen Ramer passed away two days later, November 13, 2014. Born May 10, 1941 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Cyrus G. and Flora Ridenour Ramer. Terry was employed with Pangborn Corporation for 37 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Funkstown, MD, the American Rose Society, and AARP. Terry is survived by one daughter, Becky E. Rose and her husband Vincent Rose of Colchester, CT; one son, David G. Ramer and his wife Michelle Ramer of Hagerstown; one sister, Carolyn Lucas of Hagerstown; two brothers, John C. Ramer of Terra Haute, IN, and Chris Ramer of Baltimore, MD; and two grandchildren, Sophie and Charles Rose. A joint memorial service will be held 11am, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 24 E. Baltimore St., Funkstown, MD. Rev. Linda M. Alessandri will officiate.
