Terry Alden Price, 82, of Boonsboro, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 1, 1939, to the late Chester and Nancy (Sowers) Price. A life-long farmer, Terry will be remembered for his character and his quiet and calm demeanor, no matter the circumstances. He was a man of few words, leading his family by his actions. To the community, he was well-respected, always ready to lend a helping hand, no matter how busy he might be. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Janice Barnhart, Joan Hendershot, and Wanda Barger; and by four brothers, Coy Price, William Price, Leon Price and John Price. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth Price; his children, Karen Leatherman (Nathan), Phyllis Wyand (David), Dale Price (Wendy), and Doug Price (Sarah); one sister, Celia Nunamaker; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Covenant Baptist Church, 7485 Shepherdstown Pike, Shepherdstown, WV. Pastors Dan Pritchett and Eric Cox will officiate. Interment will be private. After the service, a time of fellowship will be held at the Price Family farm at 4:00 pm.
