Tammy Kay (Twigg) Mills, 45, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018, at Meritus Medical Center. Born August 15, 1972 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Linda Sue (Eichelberger) Twigg of Sharpsburg, MD, and the late Paul Henry Twigg, Jr. of Winter Haven, FL. Tammy was a 1990 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to being a loving, caring wife, mother, daughter and sister. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Dewayne K. Mills; three daughters, Amanda P. Twigg and fianc, Mike Smith of Hagerstown, Isabella Poper and Rosalie Poper; one grandson, Leland Smith of Hagerstown; step-mother, Doris Naramore Twigg of Winter Haven; step-father, Gurnie Stull of Sharpsburg; two sisters, Pamala S. Twigg and fianc, Tim Defelice of Hagerstown, and Paula M. Twigg and life partner, Robin Crumlich of Millsboro, DE; two step-sisters, Angie Kendall and husband, Mike of Greencastle, PA, and Ashley Vandiver and fianc, Rob Rushing of Winter Haven; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Twigg of Berkley Springs, WV; mother-in-law and caregiver, Lanca Mills of Hagerstown; best friend, Lynn Zigler Black of Charles Town, WV; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kreps and Pearl Eichelberger; and paternal grandfather, Paul H. Twigg, Sr. of Berkley Springs. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. There will be no funeral service. The burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
