Sylvia Regina Scott, 77, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Complete Care at Hagerstown.

Born November 1, 1948, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph McDonald Henderson, Sr. and Thelma Evelyn (Armatha) Henderson.

Sylvia dedicated many years of service to Jamison Door Company, where she worked as a skilled sheet metal mechanic until her retirement. She was known for her strong work ethic.

She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Shaela Crawford and Shena Brown; her son, Winston Scott, Jr.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her sister, Diane Dickson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carl Scott; her sister, Irma Branch; and her brother, Joseph Henderson, Jr.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 2:00-5:00pm.
