Obituary

SUSAN REBECCA (FUNK) TEACH, 74, of 11204 B Pepperbush Circle, Hagerstown, and formerly of Pinesburg, Md., died on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born January 20, 1933 in Fort Loudon, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin S. and Matilda Hassler Funk. She was a homemaker and previously employed at the Williamsport School cafeteria. She enjoyed her family, the girl scouts, Mar-Lu-Ridge Church Camp, bingo, photography, traveling and bus trips. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Williamsport, and the Mary Martha Circle of Zion. She was a member of the Rebekkah Lodge at Williamsport, and the Pinesburg She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Leroy Teach, Sr. whom she married on July 8, 1950; two daughters, Darlene Teach, and Linda Sisk, and husband, Roy Sisk Sr., all of Hagerstown; two sons, Robert L. Teach, Jr., and wife Cindy, of Hagerstown, and David Teach, and wife Brenda, of Walkersville, Md.; three sisters, Eleanor Reed, Ruth Daley, and Doris Kline, all of Hagerstown; two brothers, Roy Funk of Hagerstown, and Robert Funk of White Lake, Mi.; and four grandchildren, Roberta Kesselring, and Amanda Teach, both of Hagerstown, and Bryan Teach, and Adam Teach, both of Walkersville, Md., and one great-granddaughter, Audrianna Kesselring of Clarksburg, W. Va. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Funk and William Funk; and two grandchildren, Anthony Kesselring and Kyle D. Teach. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Williamsport. Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m., and on Monday one-half hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund, 33 West Potomac Street, Williamsport, Md. 21795, the Williamsport Lions Club, P. O.
