Susan Ethel Faulders, 81, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Martinsburg Health Center.

Born August 22, 1945 in Perry, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Basiel Victor Clark and Dorothy Geneva (Pike) Clark.

Susan was self-employed as a CNA, providing compassionate care to others as an in-home caregiver. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a playful spirit that made her a joy to be around. One of her favorite ways to have fun was to sing her famous “chicken song” to anyone who would listen. It was one of those silly, endearing things that was uniquely Susan and often brought laughter and smiles to those around her. Those who knew her will remember not only her caring heart, but also the simple moments of joy and laughter she created wherever she went.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Jerry L. Faulders; her son, Jerry G. Faulders (wife, Jeanine); and brother, Bill Jones of Nebraska.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Myrtle Clark.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home from 10-11am on Friday, October 2, 2026, followed by the graveside service at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD. Pastor David Sword will officiate.
