SUSAN DIANE BABINGTON, 67, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center. Born December 19, 1945, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George S. Lindner and Thelma Lesher Renshaw. Susan was a 1963 graduate of Waynesboro High School. She was retired from Citicorp in Hagerstown, MD. She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Lapole and husband, Art of Fairplay, Maryland and Stacy Shafer and husband, Brian of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Martha Lindner Zimmerman of Charles Town, West Virginia, Deb Lindner Scott of San Francisco, CA and Sandra Lindner Turner of Manassas, VA; two grandsons, Justin Michael Shafer and Nathan Lee Shafer both of Waynesboro, PA. She was preceded in death by a step-father, Clyde Renshaw. There will be no viewing or visitation. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
