STEVEN MICHAEL (MIKE) VANCE, 63, of 936 Pope Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, May 14, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born September 23, 1943 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late William Cleveland and Elva May Wilson Vance. He was employed with Craig Paving. He was an organ donor. He is survived by his former wife, Carolyn Vance of Williamsport, Md.; a daughter, Misha Palladino and husband Mike of Williamsport, Md., and a son, Michael Vance of Williamsport, Md.; two sisters, Claudine Harbaugh and husband Richard of Hagerstown and Gladys Sullivan and husband Kevin of Funkstown, Md.; four brothers, Charles Vance and wife Bertie of Funkstown, William Vance and wife Juanita of Hagerstown, Richard Vance and wife Ginny of Hagerstown and Ronald Vance and wife Debbie of Williamsport; and five grandchildren, Michael Palladino, Miranda Palladino, Dylan Palladino, Amber Vance and Brandon Beall. Special friend Jennifer Moats of Hagerstown. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Madeline Kenny, Marjorie Slusher, Vanna Hartman, Donna Kennedy and Sondra Vance and a brother, Phillip Vance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Blvd. Evangelist Casey R. Strunk will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
