Stanley Paul
Pavlosky
Mar 25, 1956 — May 28, 2026
Stanley "Stash" Paul Pavlosky, 70, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born March 25, 1956, in Nutley, NJ he was the son of the late Zigmund Pavlosky and late Jean (Hoffman) Pavlosky.
Stash graduated from Nutley High School in 1974 after which he joined the United States Army where he went on to proudly serve his country until 1991, only leaving his service due to an injury. After leaving the military he found his way into the blue-collar field working in masonry and carpentry and serving as an officer in his Union local.
He is survived by nine siblings. He also leaves behind his only child, daughter Kelly Keller (Arthur). Additionally, he is survived by his pride and joys and true favorite people - his grandchildren and great grandchildren - granddaughters Kylie Ramirez (Yovanny), Leanna Showe, Hannah Waldron (Bradley), Maggie Keller (D'andre) and grandsons Jacob Fraley (Tori), Benjamin Showe, Zachary Keller and Michael Keller and great granddaughters Emma, Felicia, Lillianna and Aurora. He is also survived by his best fur baby Leo.
In addition to his parents, Stash was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian (Harrison) Pavlosky and his brother Edward Pavlosky.
Stash showed a resilience and perseverance few could appreciate, surviving not one but two life altering vehicle accidents. Despite being in constant pain, he always showed up for whatever event his grandchildren and later his great grandchildren were participating in. He took immense pride in bragging about them to anyone who would listen.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Stash's honor to K9s for Warriors, an organization dedicated to ending veteran suicide by pairing at risk veterans with rescue dogs.
