Sonia Estella Moser, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Farhney Keedy Home and Village in Boonsboro, MD.  Born September 26, 1939 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Irene and John Lowman.

She attended Hagerstown High School. At a young age, she worked as a cleaner and seamstress before starting her family. She loved playing bingo, games, dancing, and listening to music, and cherished the time spent with her loved ones.

Sonia is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Moser; son, Darryl Moser (wife, Sherry Shuler); four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; sister, Penelope "Penny" Marks; brother, William "Bill" Lowman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Eugene Moser, three sisters, and three brothers.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

The graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 20, 2024, with Rev. Randall Reid officiating, at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD.
