SHIRLEY ANN JONES, 72, of 428 W. Franklin Street, Hagerstown, Md., died on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. Born November 29, 1937 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Freda C. Young Wilkinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin T. Jones, Sr. She is survived by a son, Donald Cole of Lothian, Md.; a brother, Samuel Edward Shaffer of Hagerstown; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four children, three sisters and a brother. The family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Kitty Lippy will officiate.
