Shirley "Granny" Katherine Lescalleet, 88, of Stateline, PA passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was born on August 29, 1936 to the late Thomas Fritz and Mary Black Fritz.

Shirley graduated from Westminster High School and worked for many years at Citi Corporation, as well as previously managing the local school cafeteria, and working for Singer Corporation. She enjoyed horses, keeping chickens and birds, and sewing. Shirley liked the color purple, cheesecake, and candy – but most of all, she loved having her whole family together, especially for Christmas dinner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Lescalleet, her siblings, Bud Fritz and Mary Shatzer, and her beloved family friend, TD Stultz.

Shirley is survived by her children, Greg Lescalleet and his wife, Leslie, Barry Lescalleet The Favorite and his wife, Irene, and Susanne Stevens and her husband, Clifford, her grandchildren, Brad Lescalleet (Cari), Tim Lescalleet (Christina), Brandon Lescalleet (Jana), Jacob Lescalleet (Megan), Mitch Stevens (Lekha), and Tyler Stevens (Rowan), and her great-grandchildren, Laken Lescalleet, Regan Lescalleet, Marley Kate Lescalleet, Natalie Lescalleet, Maelynn Lescalleet, Jasmine Lescalleet, Roslyn Lescalleet, and Kai Stevens.

There will be a private graveside service on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00am at Pipe Creek Cemetery, 104 S Clear Ridge Road in Union Bridge, MD.
