Shirley Ann (Sowers) Davis, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Coffman Nursing Home. Born June 22, 1937 in Siebert, MD, she was the daughter of the late William A. Sowers, Sr. and Pauline M. (Bloss) Sowers. Shirley was a 1957 graduate of Fort Hill High School. She is survived by her children, Donald L. Davis Jr., Sue A. Stine and husband, Bob, and Margaret V. Davis; four grandsons, Donald R. Davis and Leah Higdon, Blake A. Davis and Amanda Hendershot, Joey Stine and wife, Carly, and Samuel A. Stine and wife, Trish; two great-grandchildren, Amya Rose Davis and Roen Amity Davis; also survived by the father of her children, Donald L. Davis Sr.; and Rose Martinelli Davis. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Evans and Mary Smith; one brother, William A. Sowers, Jr.; and one grandson, Jonathan R. Davis.
