SHEILA ANN MUNDEY, 54, of Williamsport, Maryland, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at NMS Healthcare of Hagerstown. Born June 2, 1959 in Berkeley County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Burkhart of Martinsburg, West Virginia. She graduated from Martinsburg High School with the class of 1977. Sheila married Joel Beck Mundey November 9, 1985. She worked at BB&T Bank for 23 years and also the Washington County Schools. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Paul Mundey, Sr. and Mary Ann Mundey of Hagerstown; sisters, Barbara Gooden of Martinsburg, W. Va. and Victoria Davis and husband Ronnie of Inwood, West Va.; grandmother, Ruth Fiddler of Clearbrook, Va.; brother-in-law Paul Mundey, Jr. and wife Pam of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Thomas Patrick Burkhart; grandparents, Grover (Bud) and Hester Burkhart and Virgil Fiddler and brother-in-law, Preston Gooden. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev. James Nirappell will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
