Shawn Jason Crawford, 53 of Falling Waters, WV passed away suddenly Saturday, February 25, 2023, at his home.  Born September 13, 1969 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Laura Crawford and the late John Leslie Crawford, Jr.

Shawn graduated from Williamsport High in 1987, served in the US Army, and graduated from Allegany College of Maryland and Frostburg State University.

He worked for Bimbo Bakeries. He was proud of his 20 years of recovery and was known to offer friendship and support to others trying to find their way in recovery. He was a Miami Dolphins fan, a Maryland fan, a Starbucks fan, and loved to fish.

In addition to his mother, Shawn is survived by his two daughters, Emilee Crawford and son-in-law Trey Malott of Hagerstown, MD, and Elizabeth Crawford of Tennessee; grandsons, Paxton Malott and Branson Malott; sister, Coleen Watson and husband Daniel of Hagerstown; nephew, Quentin Watson and wife Lauren of Urbana, MD; niece, Carissa Watson of Bothell, WA; great-nephew, Hyland Watson; and his faithful pup, Puddin'.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD, on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 1pm - 2pm.  A Celebration of Life will begin at 2pm, with Pastor Mike Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
