SHARON LEE THOMPSON, 47, of 17411 Mapleleaf Court, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Martinsburg Hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Born July 7, 1962 in Poolesville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Henry Alex and Ivy Jane Thompson Van Winkle. She is survived by two sons, Brian Lee Thompson, and Terrence Johnson, both of Hagerstown; four sisters, Wanda Howard of Smithsburg, Maryland, Jane Woodyard of Ravenswood, West Virginia, Barbara Conner of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Debra Van Winkle of Charles Town, West Virginia; ten nieces and nephews, and two great-nieces. Funeral services will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown on Friday at 1:00 p. m. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
