SHARON DIANE GOUKER MAGOUN, 59, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away, Saturday, February 14, 2015 at her home. Born March 3, 1955, in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Bryan and Ethel Irene Blickenstaff Gouker. She volunteered at the Salvation Army. Sharon loved to read, sew and put puzzles together. She also loved to go on country rides and ocean trips with her husband and family. Sharon is survived by her husband, Chester Magoun whom she married November 6, 1975; two daughters, Amber Holland and Starr Magoun and fianc, Alejandro Lobo; one son, Alan Gouker; five grandchildren, Xavier Holland, Angela Holland, Sasha Lobo, Sebastian and Trenton; two sisters, Linda Norris and Angie Fisher; three brothers, Gerald (Beak) Gouker, Steve Gouker and Doug Gouker. Private burial will be at Pleasant Walk Cemetery. A memorial reception to celebrate Sharon's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Harmony Church of the Brethren, 3924 Brethren Church Road, Myersville, MD The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Maryland. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1037 Haven Road, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.
