Sharnay Nicole Bean passed away on January 5, 2025 at Meritus Medical Center from a sudden heart attack. She was born on June 24,1987 to Edward and Beverly Snively. Sharnay was a lifetime resident of Hagerstown Maryland graduating from North High in 2005 where she was a regional and state track and field athlete. Upon graduation Sharnay attended college at HCC and later graduated from Kaplan University with an Applied Science degree and began her 15-year career working in the medical field. Sharnay suffered from a stroke, but she did not allow it to steal her life.

In May of 2019, Sharnay married her husband Joshua, whom she joined in her new passion with kids and student ministry. Sharnay was a devoted follower of Christ, loving wife, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, as well as a Kids and Youth Leader at Lifehouse Church and later Greater Shiloh Church in Easton Pa. Anyone that knew Sharnay knew how much her family and her Church meant to her. She lit up the room and was a bright shining star despite her limitations.

Sharnay is survived by her husband, Joshua Bean; Mother, Beverly Snively; Brothers, Jason Snively and Joshua Burnett; Sisters, Vanessa Smith and Angela Mejias; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and students whom she loved dearly.

Sharnay is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents James and Edith Mae Snively; maternal grandparents, James and Georgia Burnett-Williams, and William A. Burnett; Father, Edward (Butch) Snively; and her aunt, Elaine Lewis

A Celebration of life will be held at Lifehouse Church in Hagerstown MD on Friday January 17, 2025 starting at 5pm. Pastor Spencer Jackson will officiate. The family will have a private viewing at 4pm. Services will be at 5, followed by a Celebration of Life from 6-8.
