SARAH V. FARRIS, 77, of Hagerstown, Maryland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 9, 2012, after a short battle with cancer. Sarah was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on September 6, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvey Mowen, Sr. and Elizabeth Mowen Gallon; and grandson, Timothy Rhinaman. She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Kenneth Farris; one daughter, Brenda Rhinaman of Hagerstown, and her fianc, Ed Keefer; one granddaughter, Sarah Beth Cline, and her husband, Leo, and two great-grandchildren, Lance and Weslee Cline. Graveside services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p. m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Kenny Farris, 607 Guilford Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740, to help offset medical expenses.
